Coalition Welcomes First Peitho Web Coordinator

The Coalition is pleased to announce that Jen England, assistant professor of professional writing and rhetoric at Hamline University, now serves as Peitho journal’s first web coordinator. Given the journal’s growth and emerging need to become a platform that accommodates a range of web-based formats for publishing scholarly work, the time seemed right to create and fill this role.

England is not new to the Coalition or to the journal; she did significant work remediating the 4C17 Action Hour event on “Building Sustainable Lives.” At Hamline University, she pursues teaching and research interests around digital rhetorics and technologies, exploring how they can be instrumental in advancing literacies, engaged learning, and advocacy work, and considering how they can serve as sites of academic inquiry.

For their enduring work reviewing applications and interviewing candidates for this new position, we sincerely thank all members of the search committee: Bo Wang (chair), Jen Wingard (Peitho editor), Wendy Sharer, and Suzanne Bordelon. We also thank all the other applicants for their time and their interest in the position, as well as their interest in helping to maintain Peitho‘s presence in the field.
